At the 2008 Connecticut Road Builders Association Fall Dinner Meeting the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation presented the 1st Arthur Gruhn Excellence In Construction Award to Arborio Corporation. The category of "Innovative Construction Methods" for the Putnam Bridge Deck Repair & Resurfacing Project.
