Town of Enfield Award's Arborio Corporation the South Maple Street Bridge over Scantic River

The Town of Enfield has awarded Arborio Corporation the South Maple Street Bridge, over Scantic River located in Enfield, Connecticut.  In 1955 this bridge was reconstructed due to the Scantic River flood of 55.  Exactly 55 years later and home to many kayakers and fisherman, the existing bridge has weathered it's reconstruction and Arborio has been contracted to give it new life once again.

Traffic access to the bridge will be closed during construction as well as to boaters and fisherman for their safety.  Log on to our website to watch the progress of this bridge as it is being reconstructed.
